Thank you for sharing, how is the result now ?
Well, MT5 is still the absolute winter in my comparison.
Change since last time:
On MT5 I lowered risk to 1 as default 1.5 was a bit too risky for me. Does anyone knows if leverage is considered for lot size calculation by EA? In that case one could also lower leverage.
On MT4 I set settings to same values as MT5 default is. It took much more trades but most in loss. So I changed it back to MT4 defaults.

Here are the current results.

Best Results I got on a special vpsserver on ICMARKETS from 50k to 250 k and tickmill from 50k to 625 k in a month
Wow, I am far away from that. Would you mind to give more information on your "special vps server"? What makes it special? Does it have dedicated resources?

Thanks for sharing again. I don't think leverage is considered for the lot size.
To make it more fair, can you adjust MT4 settings. As you must know Jared only use MT5, the MT4 default setting is missing some adjustments.
In your MT4 make sure EnabledBreakEven is TRUE and OpenOrderSlippage and CloseOrderSlippage are both at 100.

Hi, I started trying ELM on FpMarkets MT5 raw account yesterday, but it only made me one trade and also at a loss.

I wanted to know if you can kindly tell me what kind of account you have opened on FpMarkets and what settings you are using, thanks.

I also see from the screenshot of MyFxBook that you have the names of the normal pairs, my pairs instead end with ".r", can you confirm that you have them as well?

Well, it looks like I have same account type which is raw. And I also had 1 loss trade on 2nd of November.
It looks like myfxbook recognizes the .r suffix.

For settings as I said before I am using default with lower risk of 1.0
However, I saw that Jarred had a couple of winning trades recently on fpmarkets MT5 account and we might as him what is different to our settings.

After using it for a while, I have a little suggestion for you:
- Select VPS UK (If not the VPS UK can be path to the loss of the high)
-
VolumeOrderFlow=1.0 to 1.5 (Depending on the broker and depending on the time of change)
SpreadCoef=0.3 to 0.5
Impulse=1.5 to 2
OrderMinLifeTime=1
OrderMaxLifeTime=1800

The rest of the parameters are default .Good luck

Based on my experience of using this bot, I can say that one transaction, like one day, is not an indicator. I usually test for at least a couple of weeks and only then do statistics. Thank you for your settings, I will definitely try. Although I myself prefer the default settings.

About a month ago I purchased version 2.1 PRO. The results pleasantly surprise with their stability. A well-thought-out algorithm allows you to make a profit even in a turbulent market. I prefer default settings. This algorithm is suitable for both pros and beginners. My respect to the developer.

What about aggressive settings? Does it make sense? As for everything else, I agree with you. This is a well-defined algorithm, which in practice justifies the funds invested in it.

Aggressive settings are needed for a calm market. When the market is calm before some geopolitical events, I use aggressive settings to increase profits. And if the market is active, then default settings are enough for me.

On the license, I have results close to the demo version. There is a profit. On some days, if the market is active, it is larger. On other days in a calm market, it is less. But it seems to me that there is no other way. The main thing is that at the end of the month I withdraw profit. Isn't that the most important indicator?

I seem to understand why my results are worse than Jared's, I closed many trades manually. That is, I prevented the adviser from working normally. I wonder what Jared has to say about this?

Hello! The algorithm is fully automated and does not require any intervention from the user. Also, ELM takes into account all market movements and determines the best code to close or open a trade. So you should just install the algorithm on your account and wait for the results! This will be the most correct decision(y)

Jared, what is the best way to choose a broker? Each broker has a large number of accounts, and there is confusion about which one to choose. Are there any rules here?

Hello,I recommend opening an ECN/DMA account. Opening accounts of this type significantly reduces the possibility of fraudulent manipulation by a Forex broker, because the brokerage company is not involved in the exchange of data between the trader and the processing center.

Thanks for the advice Jared, I never considered this nuance. Does the type of account affect the speed of trade execution? Do all brokers provide this type of account?
